Leed Coordinator WHW Architects
Seeking candidates who have a degree in Architecture, Mechanical
Engineering, or related field with experience directly participating in
LEED projects and understanding fundamental issues of an integrated
design process. Candidates with knowledge of research opportunities and
incentive programs for green building initiatives and those with Revit
or BIM experience will be given preference.
The Responsibilities:
- Your role is to manage the LEED process and coordinate green building
design for all WHW LEED registered projects. You will work directly with
WHW's LEED AP project architects and through them, their clients and
sub-consultants. You will report directly to the Chairman.
- You are LEED AP, have completed a university degree in a related field
and have excellent communication skills. Your knowledge is current and
your attitude is forward looking. You are comfortable using appropriate
software to organize large amounts of technical data in clear,
graphically appealing formats of your own design. You have participated
directly in LEED projects and understand the fundamental issues of an
integrated design process. You are aware of research opportunities and
incentive programs for green building initiatives including renewable
energy deployment. Working knowledge of energy modeling software such as
EE4 or building information modeling software such as Revit is an asset
but not essential.

Among the Green Building design leaders in Atlantic Canada, WHW
delivered the first LEED Certified building in Nova Scotia and currently
has several other LEED registered projects underway. The company has 14
LEED Accredited professionals and is a CaGBC LEED assessment team
member.
